Argay Dog Park

Luscious grass and big shade trees define this well-maintained dog park in Argay Terrace. Fresh water, a mellow atmosphere, and a view of descending planes overhead make Argay’s off-leash area in Northeast Portland worth checking out.
Play Features
What Argay dog park lacks in size, it makes up for in beauty. The rolling grass and large trees give the off-leash area a golf-course feel. Though it’s not fully fenced, barriers on two sides give it an enclosed feel.
There’s a blue water fountain right at the edge of the off-leash area, and a trash can is conveniently situated farther down.
A paved path leads through the trees and around the rest of the park, providing lots of opportunities for great sniffs.
Park Vibes
This dog park is lovely setting to visit with your pup. The grounds are clean, and there’s a kids playground next to the off-leash area. Dog activity can be on the quiet side, so have a seat on the bench and watch the planes descend into PDX.
Easy Access
Argay dog park is located on the south side of the park, and there’s ample free street parking on NE 141st Ave. right in front of the off-leash area. You can also get there by taking the walking path from NE 142nd Ave. near NE Failing St.
Mud Factor
Though the well-kept grass is perhaps the best in town, it retains water and gets really mushy in spots.
