Brentwood Dog Park

Set in a beautiful city park, Brentwood is one of Portland’s cleanest off-leash areas. This sensibly designed off-leash area is great for fetch, offers lots of shade in the summer, and has water fountains and bathrooms nearby.

Play Features

This well-maintained fenced off-leash area is an excellent dog run. It’s long and narrow, spanning nearly 300 feet, so your dog has plenty of space to charge after the Chuckit! Several big maple trees provide all-day shade and sniffs. Plus, a half-buried tire inflates the fun.

Although there are water bowls, no running water is available inside the fenced dog park area. Fortunately, you can find a working blue water fountain by the tennis courts and another by the bathroom.

Park Vibes

Brentwood dog park is a pretty relaxed spot. Things can get a little busier here and there—often in the evenings and weekends—but the off-leash area is on the quiet side compared to some other parks. The picnic table and dog-themed art along the fence make the space more fetching.

Take a break from the designated doggie district and enjoy a lovely walk through the main park, which has large open fields and several picnic tables and benches.

Easy Access

The off-leash area is at the south end of the park. You can find free street parking right outside the dog park on SE 62nd Ave. Or park on the other side of the tennis courts on SE 60th Ave. Both entrances are double gated with trash cans outside.

Mud Factor

The gravel and wood chips help keep most of this off-leash area in respectable condition during the wetter months. The pathways through the main park are a great option for a walk in the rainy season.
